This is a photo log of the installation of Yarn Braids for one of my more mature clients. She has soft healthy hair but her edges are sparse. She wanted me to include the hairs that were there so I gripped them into nearby braids. If your edges are sparse I can grip them and if they are not then your yarn braids will be more full around the perimeter of your head than what you see here.

DeleteYou can use acrylic yarn. The brands I have used most often are "I Love This Yarn" & Red Heart. A good tip is to be sure to slightly dampen the yarn before braiding with it.
