I'm Zaaynab Le'Von (you can call me Le'Von) and I have more than a decade of experience with hair braiding, loc maintenance, and natural hairstyling. I started when I was very young (taught by my mother) and this skill has carried me a long way allowing to make extra money in high school and college. I got married when I was almost finished with college and after that I stopped doing hair for a while and focused more on school-work and my office/government job.
Now, I am a stay-at-home wife and I've started a small business which I operate from home. I've recently decided to increase my efforts to be my own boss by using all of the creative gifts God has blessed me with so I've started doing something I've always been good at - hair.

1. I am a licensed Hair Stylist specializing in Locs, Braids, Twists, & Natural Hair.
2. My clients are only women and children.
3. Your can be done in the comfort of your home. I will come to you (anywhere in the Southwest Houston area is free - for other areas of Houston a traveling charge may apply ($15 - $35).
4. I do not use chemicals (and prefer not to use weave) on my clients. I'm a strong advocate of natural hair.

I can start your locs in one of 4 ways - each has different results and will require slightly different maintenance while you allow your hair time to lock. Feel free to text, call, or email to ask questions about each method so we can decide which is best for you.
$ 45 (Medium -sized Comb Coils)
$ 55 (Medium -sized 2-Strand Twists)
$ 65 (Medium -sized Braids)
$ 85 & Up (Medium-sized Interlocked & Teased Starter Locs - This method involves teasing straight hair and interlocking it to form the base for a loc to begin to form. This is mostly used for hair that is completely straight (for example Caucasian hair).
$25 (Back-Combing) - add an additional $25 if you'd like the back-combing process to be incorporated into your starter locs.
$250 & Up (Sister Locs)

I make my own hair products but if you prefer that I use a certain brand name or type of product you should have the product(s) ready for me to use when I arrive. If you have questions about the ingredients in the products I create feel free to ask but I will inform you of what I am using on your hair before I apply it.
